Driving Directions

From Grand Rapids Airport:

Go north on Patterson for 2 miles towards 28th Street.  Turn right on 28th St. Make sure you are in the left lane so that you can take the I-96 West on-ramp, which is just under the viaduct.  Take I-96 West approx. 6 miles to either the I-96 or I-196 split; stay left, and take I-196 towards downtown.  Travel 6 miles to the Lake Michigan Drive exit.  Continue west approx. 12 miles, past the entrance of Grand Valley State University. The entrance to Knollwood Estates is on the right, next to the Speedway Station.

From Downtown Grand Rapids:

Take 131 North to 1-196 West, and exit Lake Michigan Drive. Continue west approx. 12 miles, past the entrance of Grand Valley State University. The entrance to Knollwood Estates is on the right, next to the Speedway Station.
